Black Knight 2000 Music
Play the Black Knight 2000 Pinball Machine in Green Bay, WI at District 82. BK2K is a Williams 1989 classic pinball that was added to the roster in April 2020. Erik Thoren restored this playfield and not it plays very, very fast.
This is one of my favorite all time pinball machines. Clearcoated playfield, new plastics, lots of new parts, added spot lights and led lighting make this an incredible machine to play!
- Black Knight 2000 Pinball Machine Playfield Plastic Set - New Complete! $12.40 shipping. Entex Black Knight Handheld Pinball 1980.
- Black Knight 2000 makes an exception to this trend and features a printed backglass for one thing: there is a mirror effect along the silver lines on the artwork which is impossible to print on plastic or paper, so they layered it on the glass itself with the whole artwork old school style.
- Music is by Brian Schmidt, who also did Crue Ball for the sega genesis.
- 3 Flippers
- Upper Playfield
- 3 bank stand up targets that lower to allow you to hit the ramp and lock your balls on the upper playfield. This is how you start multi-ball
- 2 separate 3 bank drop targets
- Magna save to try and save your ball on the right outlane---you must be fast to save it!
- Horseshoe lane under the upper playfield and spits the ball back at you very fast!
- Couple of different multi-balls
- Awesome music!
- Designed by Steve Richie who also designed AC/DC, Black Knight, F-14 Tomcat, Game of Thrones, High Speed, The Getaway, Rollergames, No Fear, Spider-man, Terminator 2 and Terminator 3. Most of which you can play at District 82!
Soundtrack composed by Brian Schmidt, Dan Forden and Steve Ritchie, Brian Schmidt and Dan Forden are two regular sound designer for Pinball machines and vid.
The Lightning Wheel shot, even when unlit, is still a good way to get the ball from the lower playfield back to the upper playfield.

Black Knight 2000 is a 1989 pinball game designed by Steve Ritchie (who also provides the Knight's voice) and released by Williams Electronics. The game is the sequel to the 1980 pinball machine Black Knight. It was advertised with the slogan 'He rides again.' and features a black knight theme.[1] 30 years later, Ritchie would design a third game in the series for Stern Pinball, titled Black Knight: Sword of Rage.[2]
Description[edit]
Black Knight 2000 has two different plastic artwork versions of the upper playfield - a futuristic and a stone castle design. The voices of the Choir of Angels are Stephanie Rogers and Glo Van Vlack.[1]
The game has an upper and lower level, a repeating U-Turn, Skyway Loop shots and a Drawbridge toy. Black Knight 2000 includes the patented Magna-Save feature from the original—magnet which prevents balls from draining. Other gameplay features include Lightning Wheel Awards, Hurry-Up bonuses, three Multi-Ball rounds, and The King's Ransom Wizard mode.[3]
Under default settings, players are allowed up to five extra balls per game; any extra ball earned thereafter earns a point award.
